News

New Season

Well at last the Blackball Rules have been voted in and hopefully should make a differance to the players of the League. I would like also to welcome the two new teams who have entered for next Season namely The Scarecrow and Kirky Miners.
I would hope that everyone takes time to familiarise themselves with the rules so that there will be as little disruption as possible during the year!!! I hope to start the Season with the Frank McAteer Charity Rosebowl in order to give everyone who is not conversant with the changes a chance to get used to them before the League starts in earnest.

A.G.M

The Annual General Meeting of Kilsyth & District Pool League will take place on Saturday 07/06/08 in the Parkfoot Social Club at 11 00 Sharp. There will no doubt be plenty to discuss and I would ask anyone attending to have any proposals ready in order to save time. Any new teams wishing to enter must be present and have a letter intending selection for the forthcoming Season. All existing teams should also be present.

League Singles

Unfortunately due to the UEFA Cup Semi final on Thurday, we might have a problem with playing in the venue of Parkfoot. If you have already played your tie it wont affect you but I would advise all others to try and play before if possible. We do not want to have anyone disadvantaged at this stage of the tournament. On this occasion if you can play in an alternative venue it will be allowed. Please notify me if you wish to do this and send me the result. Sorry for the inconveniance.

May Meeting

The May Meeting will take place on 03/05/08 in The Parkfoot Social Club at 11 00 sharp. All monies must be paid up to date at this meeting. If anyone has an individual winners shield could they bring it along to this meeting so that we can have it for the Presentaion at the Finals. Thanks for your co-operation.

FEBRUARY MEETING

Dont forget that the Feb Meeting will be held in the KBL. The meeting will be held there to enable members to go directly to the Martin Carroll Tournament should they wish to do so. League Doubles and League Singles Ties will be issued at this meeting.

January Meeting
